"How To Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk" is a 6-week parenting program that uses books, videos, role-plays and discussion to help parents communicate effectively with their children. Call 231-347-0067 for more information.

Playgroups
Free playgroups are offered each week for parents or primary caregivers and their children ages birth through 48 months and any preschool age sibling.

Playgroups are in Alanson, Boyne City, Charlevoix, East Jordan, Ellsworth, Petoskey and Mancelona.

• Families participate in fun activities such as games, crafts and music.
• There is also time for informal support between parents.
• The group facilitator will assist with accessing resources and networking within the community.
