“I absolutely love everything about this place.”
~Parent of an Enrolled CLC ChildThe Children’s Learning Center (CLC) is a popular preschool and childcare option for many area working families and their children who are age 2-1/2 through 10. We have worked with hundreds of children and families since opening our doors in 1982.
- Enriched, educational environment
Lesson plans reflect a nationally recognized curriculum which supports children in all areas of development.
- Fully-licensed and highly rated
CLC is “an excellent program,” has a wonderful space, staff are positive and appropriate with the children and the whole center runs very well, according to a Michigan licensing renewal consultant.
- Attentive staff and teachers
Our dedicated staff consistently earns high marks from parents and kids, alike. The lead teacher holds an Early Childhood Degree. CLC staff receives ongoing training.
- Project FREE preschool
Project FREE is a state-funded Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for four-year-olds. A certified teacher focuses on building students’ social and academic skills for a smooth transition into kindergarten. Project FREE operates September through May each year. Although there is generally no cost to families, eligibility requirements do exist. If interested, please call 1-800-443-5518 to schedule an application appointment.
- Before school, after school and summer programs
Do your school-age children have a safe place to go after school? Our before and after school programs are a great option for working families concerned about leaving kids unsupervised. Summer programming keeps kids active and engaged with everything from walking field trips, sports and water-fun days to cooking and crafts.
- Full and half-days available
- Fees based on consistent/set scheduled days of programming
- 10% discount for additional enrolled sibling
- Enrollments are accepted throughout the year
- Open year round, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Children must be potty trained
