Our free, community Playgroups are offered in Alanson, Petoskey, Boyne City and East Jordan.  The weekly groups offer enriching play for children age 0-60 months and preschool siblings.  Parents learn, share and network.

• Fun activities
  Parents and young children participate in games, crafts and music.

• Informal support for parents
  We get high marks from parents who say they benefit from engaging in fun activities with their children while networking with other parents.

• Trained playgroup facilitators
  A fun and relaxed setting in which parents learn about early childhood development, age-appropriate toys/activities and approaches to discipline.

• Parenting resources
  A lending library of books and videos on childhood development and parenting are available.  Facilitators are knowledgeable about community resources, as well.
