| Who We Are
The Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan, Inc.
(WRC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community based organization
funded by state, federal and local grants, United Way, individual
and community donations, and special project fundraising.
We are dedicated to serving the women and families of northern lower
Michigan. Established in 1977, the WRC serves Antrim, Charlevoix,
Cheboygan, Emmet and Otsego counties.
What We Are
The Women's Resource Center is a place where you can:
- get help with a variety of concerns
- share common experiences and concerns
- learn more about yourself and others
- benefit from a professionally trained staff to provide a variety
of services to you and your family
We subscribe to the belief that we, as responsible human beings,
benefit from the association with others on a caring level.
Accreditation and Licensing
The WRC's Counseling Program is accredited by the Commission
on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is a licensed
Substance Abuse Program. The Children's Learning Center is also
a licensed day care facility.
