Harvest Food Drive
Harvest Food and Supply Drive donations help nourish, comfort, and provide a much-needed feeling of ‘home’ for survivors and their family members who have come to the Safe Home seeking refuge from domestic abuse and sexual assault. Every day, brave individuals and families escape violence, seeking safety and a fresh start. The Safe Home provides them with the essential resources they need to begin rebuilding their lives. However, we cannot do this alone. We need your help. It is one of the most significant ways to support survivors in northern Michigan.
Last year at the Safe Home, more than 2,418 nights of shelter and 7,254 meals were provided at no cost.
The Safe Home is operated 24/7, providing families in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, and Otsego counties with a secure, supportive, and caring place to stay while they regain control of their lives. We need your help to continue supporting individuals and families as they heal from the physical and emotional trauma of domestic abuse and navigate toward a more hopeful future.
We are asking for donations of non-perishable food items and financial contributions to ensure that survivors have access to nutritious meals and necessary supplies. Your generosity will directly impact their daily lives, providing them with nourishment and the comfort of knowing they are cared for.
Gift card donations and financial contributions provide Safe Home staff with the flexibility to purchase exactly what is needed by families, as the need arises. Gift card and financial donations may be delivered or mailed to WRCNM, 423 Porter Street, Petoskey, MI 49770.
