You have been advocating for yourself, which is a great start. Unfortunately, finding and securing adequate and affordable housing continues to be extremely challenging in our area and nationwide.

You can speak with advocates who can provide community resources and options, depending on your specific needs via the Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan’s 24-Hour Help and Information Line, at 800-275-1995 or 231-347-0082.

Below are additional resources that may be helpful if you have not reached out to them already.

In Cheboygan, Emmet, Otsego, Charlevoix and Antrim counties call 2-1-1 to connect with people who can provide referrals and information to assist with essential needs 24-hours a day.
