First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey presented Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM) with a donation to support vital programs and services provided to area women, children and families.  Gail Kloss, WRCNM Executive Director said the donation helps support services that are not funded or not fully funded by grants such as domestic abuse, sexual assault, child abuse/sexual assault and counseling.  More than a dozen local nonprofits received support from the Mission Ministry this year, funded by a percentage of contributions from the congregation.  The Mission Team researched and considered funding many different area nonprofits during the selection process, as well as national and international missions.   Pictured during the check presentation are (from left) Mission Ministry Team Chair, Craig Currier; WRCNM Executive Director, Gail Kloss; and Pastor Ryan Donahoe.
