Work by local artists grace the walls of Palette Bistro’s upscale, casual restaurant in downtown Petoskey. On a rotating basis throughout the year, featured artists are recognized during art preview receptions with event entry fees donated to a local non-profit organization. The Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM) was named recipient of funds raised during the November art event which exhibited original art by Neil W. Ahrens, Paul Andrzejewski, Pamela Atsoff, Bill Dietrich, Linda Gall, Chase Hunt, David Pickett and Julie Stoppel. Pictured in front of an abstract painting by Neil W. Ahrens is Palette Bistro Manager, Patrick Faylor (left) and WRCNM Executive Director, Gail Kloss who accepted the donation of $1150 to help support essential WRCNM programs and services provided to women, children and individuals in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Otesgo counties. Palette Bistro is one of three area restaurants owned and operated by The Wineguys Group, of which Faylor is a partner. Palette Bistro is located at 321 Bay Street, Petoskey. Information about current and previous artists is available online at palettebistropetoskey.com. Details about the WRCNM can be found at wrcnm.org.
