When you choose to amplify your impact with a planned gift of any kind, you are strengthening our communities even further. Planned Giving is a term that includes several types of gifts with varying tax and personal benefits. All forms of Planned Giving offer an opportunity to invest in the future of our community. In some cases, your investment costs nothing up front.

A bequest through a trust or will, life insurance benefits, and/or percentage of assets can be allocated to WRCNM through the estate planning process with your trusted advisor or attorney. Estate gifts to WRCNM are directed toward WRCNM Endowment Funds held at the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation and Charlevoix County Community Foundation to ensure the longevity of WRCNM programs and services. Other forms of Planned Giving like IRA distributions and transfer of stocks have an immediate impact for survivors and families participating in WRCNM programs and services.
