A pre-St. Patrick’s Day FUNdraiser supports Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan programs and services and will be held at the Sagamore Room/Inn at Bay Harbor from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 16. Dollars raised at the pre-St. Patrick’s Day FUNdraiser will benefit essential Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM) programs and services relied on by thousands of people every year. The Irish-themed event will be held at Sagamore’s at the Inn at Bay Harbor from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, March 16.

The event features raffles, mystery-pot-of-gold and unique silent and live auction items donated by area businesses and individuals, such as a private Castle Farms 1918 Cellars wine tasting for eight people; ride on a Petoskey fire truck; Skydive Harbor Springs tandem skydive; private Bellaire Brewery tour/tasting for six people; and a fabulous five course dinner (French, Italian or Korean) with wine for eight people.

“This event is a chance for people to celebrate spring and St. Patrick’s Day, visit with friends, meet new people and bid on great auction items,” said Gail Kloss, WRCNM Executive Director. “More importantly, the dollars raised are absolutely essential to the organization and help support children’s educational programming and scholarships, the 24-hour crisis and information line, heat and electricity at the domestic abuse Safe Home and counseling provided at no cost to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault.”

The pre-St. Patrick’s Day FUNdraiser also features plentiful appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets are $10 per person in advance or $15 at the door.
