TRP Gaylord, a JX Enterprises company, presented a $1,100 donation to the Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan to help fund domestic abuse and sexual assault support services.
The donation is the result of employee jeans days and a company-match through the JX Give Back program. Employees take part in the program by donating dollars to wear blue jeans to work and by suggesting a local nonprofit to support that provides services addressing local community needs.
TRP Gaylord employees selected Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan because of their advocacy, counseling and support of domestic abuse and sexual assault survivors. The organization has offices in Gaylord, Mancelona, Cheboygan and Emmet counties and operates a Safe Home and 24-hour help and information line.
The JX Give Back program has supported a total of 1,272 nonprofit organizations with a total of $502,928 in donations.
