For more than a quarter century, Don Ward and Jennifer Eis have practiced the art of giving back to their community. This year is no different. The owners will continue a tradition of donating 20% of store sales made on Saturday, December 13 and 20, to the Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM).

Many gallery customers plan on shopping one of the two Saturdays prior to Christmas, because they know the gifts they purchase will also help fund crucial WRCNM programs and services relied on by thousands of individuals every year. Essentially, a gift purchased at Ward and Eis on Saturday, December 13 or 20, is a gift twice given.

Ward and Eis Gallery also provides charitable support to several area non-profits through the donation of 2% of all annual sales, 100% of the proceeds from a book they authored titled Magpie Papers and 20% of sales from a Thanksgiving benefit.

“Don and Jennifer’s commitment to charitable giving is intentional and genuine,” said WRCNM Executive Director, Jan Mancinelli. “How they operate their business is an extension of how they live their lives.”

Ward and Eis Gallery is located at 315 East Lake Street, in the heart of Petoskey’s Gaslight District, and can be reached at (231) 347-2750.
