Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan hosts online auction fundraiser

Online auction home page module 2021

During the past year, all in-person fundraising events to support essential programs and services of the Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM) were canceled due to the pandemic. Because COVID is still a concern, the non-profit agency decided to not host their annual St. Patrick’s Day event this spring. In place of this major fundraiser is an online auction that will be open for bidding April 8-18.

Dollars raised from the online auction will help support life-saving and life-changing survivor services provided at no cost to adults and children in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Otsego counties.

The Online Auction offers unique items from local businesses supporting WRCNM, such as Boyer Glassworks, The Quiet Moose, Sturgeon River Pottery, Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Lake Effect, Yoga Roots, Monarch Garden and Floral Design, Grand Traverse Ophthalmology Clinic, Between the Covers Bookstore, The New York Restaurant and others, including a Mackinac Island package valued at more than $500.

WRCNM invites the community to browse and bid on auction items and to help support the agency’s vital services. The online auction can be accessed April 8 through April 18 at 11:59 p.m., via the agency’s website at www.wrcnm.org or directly at www.biddingowl.com/WRCNM.
